Arrived at our hotel in the magical midst of a Turkish night
Feeling the heat all around me and so much beauty in my sight
1st day down to business, there's so many shops & sights to see
We browse the shops & barter with sellers who are rather friendly!
Bags filled with bits its time to sit & have a bite to eat
A lovely man begins to fan as I sit all heat flushed in my seat
Food & shopping finished the day is winding up a peach
No better way to top it off then watching the sunset at the beach
I swam in warm blue waters as the golden sun slipped from this town
Ate chunks of watermelon messily, cool juice dripping down & down
Scents drifted on a gently breeze as a hot day became a warm night
And so began my holiday full of wonderful Turkish delight
