We're serving up religious doctrine for your head.
Ancient tales of Virgin births and resurrection
repackaged, resold for the new Christian nation.
Retooled and retold to fit in just so.
You women, cover your heads now
You know the Romans don't like the show.
The message of love has been lost and been twisted
Jesus' essence, oh brother how we missed it.
Yet the spirit remains to find the grace in each other.
The trees, the newt, and you my friend,
we are all spiritual brothers.
