Lost in her own words
I snuck in. The house was quiet. Everyone was out at work. The dog started barking but a quick dose of chloroform took care of him. I searched the rooms.
I must confess. Things haven't been right lately. The screams that tear through the middle of night are horrible.
As the priest led the prayers, the adults moped, and the children cried, a boy in black stood by a tree. He was a lonely boy, but why had he come. Why hadn't anyone talked to him.
