My Piano Story

As I sit on my stool,
I play my piano,
The notes coming off,
Just like a soprano,

I love it so much,
As my fingers move along,
Side to side,
Low to high,

I sing a tune,
A tune I can't get out of my head,
Like a word or a thought,
That was never said,

I think of you,
All your glory,
Then I look back,
I start our story,

The keys I press,
Tell the story of us,
How much I love you,
And how happy I am with you,

The piano notes,
Come of like a drum,
Going into my soul,
Like violin does,

But as I sit on my stool,
I play my piano,
I forget about us,
And just remember the soprano,

My piano story,
Is really quite fake,
But I truly love the sound,
That our keys make,
