A wave caught my eye as I
Stood on a pier and it
Strived towards the shore till in
Crashing was no more. And
Then came another, then
Another, then another, each
Catching my eye, each
Forgotten in a sigh.
None of them mattered, for
All of them shattered, and
Time is an ocean, and
We are its waves;
Forgotten
At graves.

This is incredibly beautiful and poignant! It would make me sad if the imagery wasn't so perfectly satisfying :)
