This is my 700th post!
(Well I've actually done a lot more)
But I've started to slowly delete
Those that I really don't score.

I've been up and down the popularity like chart
(The ranking system to you and me)
But I like to switch off sometimes
And spend holidays with my family.

I'm not bothered if I'm second
Or three hundred and seventy two
I just want to share my words
With like minded people like you.

But what I'd really like to say
And what I want you to know
Is thank you so much for reading
My verse, my stories, my prose.

I haven't put pen to paper
Since I was at school
Thank you for igniting the passion
Opuss you really do rule.

Without you, yes you, out there
And your encouraging words and smiles
I'd still be tentatively reading
Instead of writing miles and miles and miles.

Thank you!

And I'd also like to thank my family, my kettle, my garden, my hedgehog, my bank manager, my agent, my life for the inspiration.

Now Id better get to work.
