A Dance In The Sunlight

The sun was pouring blissfully through the trees;
Casting spotlights of INSPIRATION on the dense forest floor.
I danced for FUN amongst the rays of light;
I felt FREE from the chains of life, once more.

I gazed to the heavens and sang my song;
The LIBERATING words flowed from my lips.
I felt cleansed, CATHARTIC, and under a spell;
With a twirl, a pirouette and a sway of the hips.

And then I awoke, the dream broken;
By MEOWS from the COMMUNITY of cats next door.
They were fighting over an old HEINZ baked bean tin;
An ADDICTIVE CHALLENGE for sure.
