Sometimes all it takes is a smile to bring hope;
lighten up the day, while others mope.
Passers by with their eyes towards the ground;
They should turn their frowns upside down.
Frowns are contagious, so many grumps about;
They fade my smile, make my lips pout.
We all have off days, but why so many?
Smiles are free, they don't cost a penny.
But what I am learning, in my journey through this world,
Is a smile is infectious, to every boy and girl.
So next time you see a Grrrrump in town;
Smile... And see if their frown turns upside down.
If we all smile, and be kind to each other;
Even annoying sisters and smelly big brothers.
Would the world be a happier place;
Or am I just drunk on life, with a smile on my face?
