A tale of two lovers On Christmas Eve day Sat under a tree With games to play
They decided that each time Some one came singing They'd take their bell And make it start ringing
The Christmas spirit Filled their hearts Making snowballs And eating tarts
Gingerbread houses And presents galore All that they did Was keep giving more
While all this love Is nice and in reason We had to explain "This is the wrong season!"
The couple looked about And let out a sigh "You don't understand! It's Christmas in July!"
