When I feel trapped in the emotional drama; The drama that pulls me down and punches me in the heart, The drama that seems never-ending and over-tiring, I try to escape. I try to escape the words, The gossip, The tears, The heartbreak, The sadness.
There's this one certain place where I can go, To hide from all the pain.
When I want it to all stop, And when I want the world to pause, I close my door, Lay down, Shut my eyes, And press Play.
I feel as though I'm not in the world anymore, It's a good feeling. To feel at ease With the loud music, Singing my feelings, Singing to my heart, Singing away my pain.
I get the feeling of power. I feel I could just levitate out of my bed right there. I'm already non-existent, So I may as well add my sweet, Sweet, Rock music.
