BOOM!
CRASH!
BANG!
His head shoots up
From under the covers
'What was that?!'
Rain in pouring down
He's looking all around
A ripple in the sky
He's shaking now with fear
He tries to stand up
And claws scratch my arm
He looks at the door
Then back at me
He looks at the window
Then back at me
Body quivering
Mind boggling
BOOM!
Terrified now
He does what I hate
He lowers his bottom jaw
Let's his tongue out
And releases his fowl breath
Repeatedly
Heh
Heh
Heh
Heh
I give him a hug
To maybe calm him down
And shove him under the covers
So I can't smell him
So he stop panting
But one things for sure
When it's lightening and thunder out
My little dog Max
Can shake so much
It makes the whole bed move
Can pant so much
It stinks up a room
But I still love him.
BANG!
