I want to build a treehouse
A place where I can read,
I could laugh and smile,
And feed the birds a seed.
I want to have a treehouse
High up in the tree,
So I can climb up and hide,
From my enemy.
A treehouse, I have wanted
Since the age of 5
A place where I could play and make my childhood come alive
I wish my dad would build a treehouse right up in the tree
Even planks nailed to the branch
Would be enough for me
And four planks along the trunk
So I could climb with ease
I'd be safe from all the bullies
But I must beware the bees
If only I could have a treehouse
For my very own
I could have my friends up there
Or just maybe be alone
