Will you take these shoes and walk for a while? Though they'll rub and chaff in less than a mile. Blisters will come and you'll stumble and fall But Will you take these shoes and walk for a while?
Will you take them for the man who wears them day on day He needs to be lifted, will you open your eyes? Will you take these shoes I have set before you? Help him, support him and bring him through?
Are you prepared for the pain, prepared for the road? Will you walk in his shoes, help him carry his load? Will you take these shoes I have set before you? As I took your shoes, as I walked for you
In Your shoes I was nailed on that tree Felt your pain, suffered your agony Laid down my life, that you may go free Will you take these shoes I have set before you?
Will you love one another as I have loved you? Take these shoes of your brother I have set before you? Will you feel his pain, feel his loss? It's the way of love, the way of the cross?
