Life Of A Loner: Part 2

As i walk into the school building and try and flatten down my hair as rain has made it go all frizzy.As i frantically search through my bag for a hair brush And i forget I'm standing right next to the door and get knocked over by a boy as he's running out of the rain.
He looks quite tall with broad shoulders, he has floppy, slightly messy light brown hair and his eyes are a emerald green colour. He's not conventionally handsome but there is something quite attractive him i just can't work out what it is. He looks about 2 year older than me which would make him seventeen.
My books are sprawled across the floor along with my hairbrush. As I get back up on my feet he turns and see's what he has done. "Oh sorry", he says bending down and picking up my books. I can feel my face heating up and I know that I'm blushing. He hands me my books which I wedge back into my bag. "It's alright, you didn't mean to do it",I say while zipping up my bag unable to face him just incase my face still looks like a tomato.
"My names Jay by the way", he says smiling. "Hi I'm Kirsten, I'm new here",I reply, only now gaining to courage to look him in the eye.
"Oh, do you need any help getting to your first lesson?", he asks sincerely. "No, I'll be fine but thanks anyway", as I say this a guy who looks about his age height and build but with chocolate brown hair calls his name from further down the corridor."I'll be right there mate", he yells back. He turns back to me and says, " sorry got to go my friend Danny is calling me, see you around".
I feel slightly better now after talking to Jay, not as nervous as before. That has been probably the longest conversation I've had at any school without being insulted. Which I guess is a good start if you don't include the whole frizzy hair, falling over and going red thing.

I think I'm going to start doing many different stories as sometimes when I'm only writing one I get a bit bored. I hope you all enjoy this new chapter!x
