A quick glance across the room confirms my suspicions, when I look back at my friends for confirmation, I'm greeted with six shocked faces. I smirk smugly "told'ja so."
They don't respond, oblivious to everything but the scene playing out before them. I flick my hair over my shoulder and grin confidently as he walks towards me.
"Hi." He drawls, a grin spreading across his face. I smile, "hey."
He looks at me, confused that I haven't fainted with shock. "Do you know who I am?" I nod slowly, "yes. Why? Do you need to know?" my friends laugh as I embarrass the most popular guy at school. He giggles softly, acting like he doesn't care. What happens next shocks even me. "Wanna go out?" He mutters in my ear, awaiting my answer. I'm shocked into silence, as my friends stare at me. Shocked, Un-moving, and completely useless.
