If I Were A Firefly

if i were a firefly...
i would be happy to share my tiniest glow and pretend to be a twinkling star to the most lonely person that i could see...helplessly wishing to see a light in a dark velvety sky.

if i were a firefly...
I'd lend my short range glimmer to anyone willing to catch me and capture me inside a bottle whenever electricity is out and naked eyes cannot visualize any shadow.

If i were a firefly...
i could do extra jobs by simply entertaining first time viewers of me, making them wonder why i could fly and carry a fire even after ten thousand tumble turns and summersaults.

If i were a firefly...
at times i will surely feel sad knowing that people can see me and appreciate me only at nighttime and be treated like a garbage fly unwantedly wasted at daytime. (sighs)

If i were a firefly...
well, the mere thought of it just tickles me...
coz who would ever try to imagine such a fantasy?
