Wouldn't it be something if the moon were made of cheese
And casually placed tenners were carried gently on the breeze
That there was a shop of dreams and it was buy one get ten free
Then we could fly around the world and get lost in its beauty
Wouldn't it be great if all the snowmen came alive
Peeking through your window to watch them doing the hand jive
And wouldn't it be something if dragons really did exist
And they were furry and not scaly, oh what a lovely twist!
It would be something splenderific if only for one day
With money obsolete all our debts were held at bay
Oh what a world to live in, everything would be tres bon
Hold tightly to this dream before the day breaks and it's gone
And as reality comes crashing, I'm afraid I have to say
Only in imaginariums could it ever be this way
But this morning fairies told me don't you let your dreams just freeze
Keep it to yourself, the moon was always made from cheese...
