My friend told me that she was deeply disappointed in one of her friends because of something that happened. She never expected it to turn out the way it did. She said it was hard to find a "real friend".
After giving some thought to it I said, "It's hard to find a true friend that shares the same feelings as you do. I've struggled with this myself as well.
One day, I realised that I should not expect so much out of others. If there's someone who seems like a true friend, cherish it. Things can change in the future so you must always be prepared for that.
Other than that, the only advice I can give is to remain true to yourself. Don't let your disappointment change what you believe in."
