How to cope...

...with other children when you're poor, really poor.

Problem 1.
You were born in a poor family and everyone can see it on your appearance - for example clothes.

Problem 2.
You're just a child, so you can't change it by looking for a job.

Problem 3.
You got something new - woohoo, new clothes, NOT secondhand! (still Chinese, but at least brand new)
You're sooo happy UNTIL everyone in the school notices it and tell you you're looking so good - sadly you can hear the sarcasm in their voice, or they ask you from who did you steal money to buy it...

Solution:
Rob a bank and buy new clothes and all the status-symbols you want to!

Seriously: no solution for this problem.
Try to ignore mean words which hurt your feelings, said by children who don't even know what they're doing.
You just have to deal with it. Life is unfair. One is poor, other one is rich.

Best things being poor:
My friends ARE my friends, my friends WERE my friends and they've been with me because they liked me and enjoyed spending time with me. They weren't popular being with me, but they were still there for me when I needed them, always!

Best lifetime-solution:
Try to make yourself rich, study, get a good job AND keep your friends who were being with you in good as in bad times!!!

With friends who are true friends, it sounds like you were rich all along. Money is a horrible necessity in this life, but that doesn't make you who you are - it's how you deal with it that makes you. Using it as ambition to go out and earn your fortune to make sure your family/friends don't have the same issues though is a great way to overcome the memory of the horrid spoilt rich kids!

@tgriffiths42 well said!:) I like my "how to cope"-series, like a biography, but not so boring...:) /or is it?-shall I try out a new way of telling memories, like in stories, for example??/

I'm enjoying them in this format - makes it more interesting when you give the solutions, some of which aren't possible - you should express yourself in whichever way your inspiration takes you though :-)

Jbvrdgbdtcyvtdrxrctx I'm bored @tgriffiths42 @sark

Materialistic things seem so important to you right now, but in the future im sure you will have something that those others don't- u have the hunger to succeed. The time will come years down the line and they will look at you wishing they had just a portion of what u got. If you believe, you will find a way. Keep ur head held high and just be yourself

@benaken I'm over it, these are childhood-memories!:) but thank you - you're absolutely right!!!:)

Good times ahead :)

@benaken exactly!:) you'd might "enjoy" my other "how to cope..." story. Or read my bio. But I've got short stories as well...:)
