Imagine if you we're sad, something happened like a relative dying or being broken up with.. You feel like your whole life has ended, the world has collapsed around you..
Say metaphorically there is a light at the end of a tunnel, but your not quite sure what it is, it could be heaven, your death is coming or an on coming train, again your death may be coming.. so you stay where you are, in this spot where you feel empty and there's devastation inside of you, so you stay put as your afraid of dying inside afraid of what may happen, but whereas this "light" at the end of a tunnel could be some kind of opening. A new world into which you can start fresh, new doors open, this light brings you out from the dark. Away from the sadness. It takes you into a new world where you can carry on with your life. Think about the positive side, the good things in life, another chance will always come, happy memories are there to keep. The feeling of loss, don't let it hold you back, embrace it and let it bring you forward in life, it gives you experience, use the pain for greater things, turn it into something good.
