When you don’t let go of hate, you let the thing or person you hate maintain control over you. You allow the hatred to keep the channels of negative energy open, sucking out positive emotions and holding you back from true happiness.
Cut off the hate and move on! When you cleanse your mind and soul of grudges andnegative thoughts, you make new room for positive emotions and joy. Take a moment today to consciously let go of all hatred. Savor the new energy that you’ll feel bursting through to take its place!
The Prophet (saws) said, "Beware of suspicion, for suspicion is the worst of false tales; and do not look for the others faults and do not spy, and do not be jealous of one another, and do not desert (cut your relation with) one another, and do not hate one another; and O Allah's worshipers! Be brothers (as Allah has ordered you!)"
