Love is the emotion we all need most, to give and to receive. Love is what gives the human spirit life. Someone who does not have the opportunity to share love of the purest kind, shrivels and becomes bitter and cold. A heart that shares love is full of laughter and it radiates warmth to all who come into contact, therefore strive to share love and you share happiness, try to give happiness and laughter, in return you will also receive it. Remember, just a smile to a stranger may brighten their day.

Love this! I literally just returned from coaching a foster parent on the effects of that missed connection as the reasons for her foster child's behaviors. Trying to help her build that love connection with her foster child. Hope I'm successful!
@ckahn so do I. That is a worthwhile job that you do, I wouldn't have the emotional strength for it, I admire you.
Thank you. I'm sure that you would have the strength. We're all planting seeds of hope and grace in each others lives. Often for others in the future to tend and bring to fruition our efforts. I have to believe this or this work would be too hard
@ckahn when I was gouged perhaps but the years have taken their toll on my nerves. I agree with what you say, well done!
@crowncottage thanks for that clarification. I was confused. Also, I should clarify. I'm not a foster parent. I work with children with developmental delays or disabilities and their caregivers. Hence, I work with lots of foster families.
@ckahn I knew you were not a foster parent but emotional strength is needed in bucket loads for that job too.
