1) Think of every little thing you hated about that person, and exemplify that by 1,000,000. (Not very healthy, but it helps.)
2) Erase all the good memories you have together from your mind. Get it all out. If you don't see it (in your mind), you won't think about it (as much) (hopefully).
3) Delete every form of contact you have with that person. This means Whatsapp, Instagram, Twitter, Texts, Tumblr, Formspring, LinkedIn, and if you can't bring yourself to delete the person off Facebook, at least restrict aforementioned person so that you won't see anything that he/she might post. (And cry. Don't cry. No more tears.)
4) Resist the urge to contact the person. Disassociate everything. And by everything, I mean EVERYTHING. His name was Harry? Time to watch the Potter movies and read the books and cry about Snape's 'always'.
5) Remember that that person's just one in the 7 other billion people on this planet. To put it simply, (s)he's just not worth it. There are so many other people who love you, and one day, you'll find that special someone who will cherish you for that very special person that you are.
That is why I will get over all the horrible feelings I got from a complete stranger, and keep moving forward. :3
