Not many understand how it feels to be angry in your bones. To plunge your hands in the filth, and feel a sorrow when you see them. When a person misunderstands and treats you like shit, the world seems darkened by that anger. But, for one like me, that anger never finds an outlet. It stays boxed in my chest and at times feels like it might explode. And then it turns to sadness, when I can't do anything about it and ignorance isn't numb enough. This sadness engulfs the mind until the sadness turns to anger again.
Sometimes, people don't show this anger out. Ever. It builds inside. And the person can turn silent...brimming with this anger. This is not just a hypothetical situation, as many experience it each day. It is misinterpreted for jealousy, grief and confusion...and sometimes that is what it is. But for some, the anger feels as if a stone is sitting on the bones, weighing it down.
And when friends and family see the angry person they assume, that that person isn't up to the challenges the world sends down his/her way. They assume that the silence is a sign of placid compliance, of unarguiging resignation. That is wrong.
The silence is just to keep the anger in and if that person chose to fight back, he or she would be formidable. Why? Because that silence is the reaction to the inferno of anger burning in them. The inferno can burn them, and can be their greatest weapon for it gives them a strength fueled by wisdom of the world.
This anger, mixed with fear, can rise to change everything. But since so few experience it, even fewer understand. This article stands to change that. Let go of assumptions and provide respect, even when not receiving it. Do it just to prove that the stupid conflicts of the earth don't bother you.
Understand the anger, and know that that person is smiling...only a fake one. To hold in the anger. One musnt provoke his anger to come out, because it will be a bane to us.
I'm not aking to fear them, in asking you to understand the things that can hide behind a smile. Because by assuming, we degrade ourselves to the point where our mind is filled with just about any thought that passes our way. We must believe the power of the weak, and sleep with a free conscience.
