September Afternoon

I can't write,
No words can tell what I feel.
I'll leave soon,
As for now, my lips are sealed.

I have but one heart,
She has it kept safe and she doesn't even know it.
Don't tear it apart,
I love her half to death, but I'm struggling to show it.

I just hope I ain't losing this,
I'm hiding behind the truth.
I pray ignorance is bliss.
Just as long as I stay with you.

Lies do nothing but haunt.

I wont step out and tell you why I'm worried,
Instead I'll take to the grave once I'm buried.

I took a big one falling in love,
Don't you try to leave now,

So once and if you leave,
I'll show my broken heart on my sleeve,

Although I'm incomplete without her.

And if we have to continue as friends,
