If I close my eyes I can still hear your voice
Words of wisdom giving me no choice
Always right wish I had your knowledge
Should have done better at school should have gone to college
Kind and gentle but tough as could be
A soldier for life fighting hard the enemy
To protect the ones you loved and adored
Only bad thing about you was the way you snored!
So proud of you fighting to protect our nation
Never heard you talk of the things you saw during stations
Best dad in the world and a hero to me
