The huge beast walked straight past me without a look I tried to stand up but my foot was completely stuck I turned and watched as the Beast stomped away It seemed I may live to see another day I pulled my foot out from under a log Smoke from the beasts heat hung round me like fog Maybe it wasn't trying to kill me at all? Maybe for some reason it just wanted me to fall! My pain had gone and I felt good as new Looking up I saw the sky had turned blue A familiar sight amongst the strange colours I'd seen Nobody would believe this land where I'd been I had to get my men and take this land for our queen I headed back through the woods quickly back to my ship I reached the beach quickly without a fall or slip But my ship looked deserted no sign of my men I started to panic of what had had happened to them I quickly realised I wasn't alone at all I slowly turned and there standing tall Was the huge beast that had caused me to fall It seemed to be smiling as it stared silently into my eyes But all at once it received a surprise! My men jumped out from the woods pulling a huge net From the ships sails it was the strongest you can get They jumped from the trees and covered the beast It could not move or take us as its feast The net was tied tightly and the beast was contained We all cheered and and the land had to be named 'WAKE UP CAPTAIN! We've finally reached land!' What? Who? I don't understand!! 'You've been asleep with the fever sir for many days!' So it was all a big dream? I felt confused and dazed! 'Come see this land sir it's very confusing!' I slowly walked out onto the deck Looked at the land and then double checked!
The grass looked black and the tree's were bright red! I now had a familiar feeling of dread!
