"it came out of his nose and mouth" the old patient continued. "it's pure fuckin evil" he said.
Darren just stared at the Prince's new host in disbelief. "was there no end to this shit" he thought. "and what the hell is it all about? Why the hell me?". Darren knew there was no escaping the Prince and probably no escaping his new home.
Just then, he realised that he had been set up. The whole thing was some great deliberate plan that the Prince had instigated to get him into this institution, but "why?".
Darren sat on his bed and thought about everything that had happened. The voice was low at first but got louder the instant the stranger introduced himself.
"Tomkins, Charles Tomkins" he repeated. "I understand you killed my wife!" he said. Darren jumped over the bed and stood on the other side staring at this new danger.
"THAT WASN'T ME" he shouted. "I know" Tomkins said. "don't worry, I know it was the Prince". Darren started to cry. "you know! You've got to help me, he's in him" he said pointing at the bed on the opposite side of the room. "I know" said Tomkins as he walked around the bed towards Darren.
Darren relaxed as Tomkins placed his arm around Darren's. "We're going to fix this" he said. "I've got a plan". The old patient, Tomkins and Darren spent most of the day together talking and discussing their plan.
They only stopped briefly for lunch which they had to eat on their own beds but then they went straight back to it, knowing that they had to act fast if they were going to stop the Prince killing again.
The plan was formed. They would kill the Prince once and for all and .... They would do it tonight.
