Flip was throwing and Flop was jumping they only stopped when it started raining.
Flip could throw an ant as far as the eye could see Flop was a jumper he could almost clear the tree The bugs had come from far and wide just to watch the games Flip was the firm favorite but Flop had a rival called James
James was a massive flea a nasty blood sucking cheat When he wasn't jumping over cats he was chewing on dogs feet He got banned from the last games for eating performance enhancing bugs So he's got prepared for this one by eating loads of slugs
Day one of the games and Flip won gold for ant throwing He threw that ant over the pond where the wasps were doing the rowing A new bug record no bug as ever thrown an ant that far Shame he landed in the road and got splatted by that car
Now it was Flops turn he had to clear the 2nd branch He'd never jumped that high before and he only had one chance He wound his little legs up and wrapped his tentacles around his knee Whoooosh he didn't think he'd jump that high, he even cleared the tree
Another bug record no bug had ever jumped as high But James the flea was up next and on his day he can almost fly But tragedy had struck earlier on in the day James was chewing on a dogs foot and was killed by flea spray.....
At the closing ceremony there was loads and loads of tears Followed by some music that was greeted with cheers But Flip made an error he later blamed it on the beer He grabbed the mike and murdered a song called Wish You Were Here ..
