Part 1

The human body is an extremely fragile thing. A temperature above 70 degrees centigrade will produce serious burns in less than a second, shards of broken glass and metal traveling at speeds of up to 50 mph will penetrate and rip open the skin upon impact. Exposure to radiation will produce loss of white blood cells, loss of hair and extreme burns to the skin. All these effects are caused by a nuclear weapon. Only people miles clear of the explosion would survive the blast. London was decimated, a 25 mile radius reduced to rubble in seconds, but that wasn't the worst part. There was something carried in this bomb other than radiation, a virus. Once infected by this virus the brain is almost completely shut down. All memory is erased, the body doesn't feel any pain or temperature. Only the basic functions remain, walk, sleep, run and of course, eat.

Part 2 to follow sometime this year.....
