I said something quite awful, something that wasn't very kind
I went to the pub with my mate, who I hadn't seen in a while
He brought some of his own mates along, it's only now that I can smile
His friend was chatting up a women, who I thought looked quite rough
She had tattoos all up her arm and she was looking kinda tough
I took the right piss when he came over, but you wouldn't believe the strife
When he looked me in the eye and said 'Er excuse me, that's my wife'
