A few weeks ago, two people wanted to create a community that revolved around a persons interests. These interests could be divided into groups; in which a person has the ability to find new people that shared those similar interests. Think Google+ meets the Interest Graph.
Movies can be separated into genres, actors and actresses, directors, and the year that movie came out. These movies then can be rated and reviewed by the user. After the movie is rated; anyone can create a list to put the movie into, or the option to suggest/recommend that particular list, or movie to a friend through a social network, or email.
Books also follow a similar approach as movies. Books are separated by the writer(s), publisher, genre and year. An interesting new feature that was implemented into the Startup, an ability to find books on sites; such as Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Barnes & Nobles. When searching for the book to purchase, it's also easy to find which site has the best deals for you. If your book is not listed or isn't available for purchase, then you can send an email to request that the book is listed, or subscribe for updates with your email address.
Like Google+ Communities, we have a bit of everything for anyone. Choose from Music to Movies, Colleges and Universities, Football to Soccer, Astronomy to Astrology, Restaurants to Popular Travel Destinations and anything that sparks your creative talents.
In the future, our social startup will bring many ways to stay connected with friends, recommending and socializing with others.
Future Updates will include, but not limited to: Stream music from your favorite artists. Purchase Books, Music and Movies directly from the site with an integration from popular online markets. Aggregation of all of your social network feeds and friends. Better UI/UX.
