Locusts From Grasshoppers

My soul, unchained
Cast off in a wind of change,
Minutia particles of memory,
Yesterdays whims,
Tomorrows dreams, todays
troubles; processed, mixed up,
Turned inside out outside in,
Can we start again?
Locusts from grasshoppers,
Maniacs from innocent children,
Can we start again?
Drunk drivers from 9-5'ers,
Tax avoiders from coffee providers,
Can we start again?
Mass murderers from elected leaders,
Devoted wives turned suicide bombers,
Can we start again?

Quotes from the bible mean nothing to me,
You can preach me the Qur'an,
and I'll bow my head down, low,
But Man breathes, and his breath is his own,
His soul remembered on deeds he has done, alone
Take responsibility for your own actions, life is
100 million directions divided by 100 million choices,
times zero (death)

What I See

In this world, I see no man is clean. Souls sullied by envy corruption and greed. Hearts blackened by what has gone before. Minds twisted with hate and bodies left raw.

Hope And Love

Killing our own kind, as if we have the right to. Polluting and destroying freely not one, but thousands of minds. We all breathe the same air and the same sun shines on us all.

Pondering Reality

Do you derive hope from failure. Do you derive joy from pain. Do you derive love from hatred. Do you derive loss from gain. Do you see life as a mystery. Do you see life as a maze.
