In a perfect world...
One we'll never know,
There'll be a chance
For us to grow.
There'll be no restraints...
We can stretch our limbs,
There'll be no planning,
We can live on a whim.
We can stop space and time,
And fall in love without pause,
And there'll be nothing to hold back,
No rules, guidelines... Laws.
But who am I kidding?
We humans are brash.
We spread ourselves out,
The world's merciless rash.
We're a force and we ruin,
We maim and destroy,
And the worst thing about it?
To some it brings joy.
Yes, there is love,
But there's unquenchable fear,
And the news on the big screens,
Make many shed a tear.
There'll never be a world,
As the one we create,
But the REAL
QUESTION is:
Are we too late?
