Can many voices make a difference?
It somehow doesn't seem enough
The cries of humanity
Fall on a deaf world
We've become accepting
Of murder, abuse and cruelty
The justice system
A safe haven for crime
Money now the gravitation
For our once free world
All the rights
Umbrella the wrongs
Falsehoods within faith
Leave us with questions
I feel bound and tied
Might as well be gagged too
For will my lone voice
Be heard?
Be trusted?
Be enough?

Writing has been my friend since a teenager...I laugh, cry, think, pretend, smile as I do it. I feel that I communicate better through my writing as in person I can appear a tad scatty.

Silence is whats left. Where violence leaves the bled; In tortured zones, In thoughts alone, No signs left to be read. Just expressions left on faces, Where nothing need be said.
I am a sponge. Absorbing everything. Filled to capacity. But I am shrinking. Ingesting the poisons. Of a toxic society. I am a mirror. Reflecting an image. Of the world you want to see.
Sit back chill. Surf the suffering. Too much equidistant losing. It's time for the standing of something. Enough nothing begot nothing. Stop bluffing. Wait for the cuffing. The nail in the coffin.

In this world, I see no man is clean. Souls sullied by envy corruption and greed. Hearts blackened by what has gone before. Minds twisted with hate and bodies left raw.
