I spy
With my little eye
Something beginning with.....
Love. Ending in a lady
And a fool, who thought he'd captured
A Water Jewel
'Treasure!' He yelled
Holding the girl, kissing her lips
Gently caressing her until
She wanted to live with him,
Make a cave behind a waterfall,
Be all and everything, but
One thing was missing; love
Above all else this must
Be granite, not fluid
Be true, not false words whispered
In glasses of cheap wine, unheard
Promises of matrimonial bliss
Screamed in moments of absolute
Madness by a naive fool
Thinking he'd found a
Water Jewel.
