I feel I should write a tribute, To all those who have passed, For all those who have lost their lives, Their memories must last.
They fell to flying bullets, In a childish pointless war, A war run by the politicians, But it's the soldiers who are no more.
Life is our treasure, An incredible gift to bear, A gift that what must not destroy, But instead to try and share.
So remember all the fallen, In every place around, Because in this current day, Peace is to what we are bound.
