Objects sparkle and shine. They shimmer like my grandmother's sweater that she only wears on half good days. Like the cheap lips gloss I'd get for my birthday; or the candles on my cakes, the trick ones that never want to burn out because of their needy attitudes. Most objects can't glow by themselves. They can only shine when exposed to the sunlight, or in a dark room. You never know what a grey pebble can do until you toss it out across the open water. You will never find out if a flashlight works until you shine it in the dark. Light is essential to show how an object can shine.

Too much of light now-a-days is fake. It come from fluorescent bulbs screwed too tightly to the ceiling. It's harsh, blinding and Lime colored. Lime Light will cover a person and drown them in a pool of popularity. You can't see this light, but you know it's there, it's hardly mentioned but everyone knows what's happening to the small town girl. You can't block it, Banana Boat is useless. It blinds and it mesmerizes, and the sunburns hurt the worst.
