Our Story - Chapter 7

It became their 5th month of being together
Things didn’t go well and it had got bitter.
Words were said out of anger and frustration
It then became a messy situation.

No words were exchanged for 3 straight days
Jenny sent John a text to have her say.
She had missed him too much to carry on fighting
She hoped for a reply and for a uniting.

He didn’t respond so later she called
With things on her mind that made her appalled.
She found messages he wrote to his boys
It made her seem like she was his toy.

She questioned him about everything he said
He gave her answers but she still felt mislead.
In the end she said they should go their separate ways
He agreed it was for the best and that’s all he could say.

In that time he never fought to hold on
From that moment she felt conned.
To believe that she was his everything
To now know this whole relationship meant nothing.

So now alls been said and done
A new life as singles has now begun
Will they still be friends? Only time can tell
Only memories are left for them to dwell.
