Harry's Point of View

After dinner we stand outside the restaurant.

"Well let's go Bri," Paul says.

I watch Paul and Bri start to walk towards the car.

"Wait!" I yell running to them. "Bri let's go get some ice cream."

She looks to Paul who nods. I hold out my hand for her to take but she just walks back to the sidewalk.

She is so stubborn. But I don't care.

I run to catch up with her on the sidewalk. The others have left already and we wait for Paul to drive away.

Bri's Point of View

Harry and I walk to an ice cream shop down the road. He opens the door for me and I walk in and wait for him.

"What kind?" he asks looking into my eyes.

"Cake batter."

"Okay."

I follow him to the counter and listen to him order the desserts.

We grab our ice cream and sit at a table by the window.

Harry's Point of View

She takes small bites of the ice cream. Each time licking the it off the spoon.

I watch as she spins it around in the cup before taking another bite.

"Why do you care so much?" she asks breaking the silence and looking up.

"What?" I ask caught off guard.

"Why do you care so much about me? Like with the waiter."

"I-I don't know," I whisper.

She dips her spoon into my bowl and eats it. "That's really gross," she says taking a bite of her own.

"Peanut butter?"

"Yeah."

"Okay?"

"Sorry. I just wanted to try. Never trying your ice cream again now."

I laugh at her honesty.

Bri's Point of View

After ice cream we throw our bowls away and go out into the cold night air.

"So am I getting paid right now for getting ice cream with you?" I ask.

"Who told you that?"

"Niall."

"So you do know our names."

"I don't live under a rock. I've heard of One Direction before."

"Oh. Do you want to get paid to hang out with us?"

"No."

"Why?"

"Because I would hang with you any day."

We walk to a park and sit on the edge of a slide. I pull my hair to one shoulder and lay back, looking up at the stars.

"It's so beautiful out here," I say.

"Almost as beautiful as you."

Harry's Point of View

Crap.

"What?" she asks sitting up.

"You're beautiful."

"Thanks curly."

I laugh at the nickname that stuck with me.

A quick breeze blows causing Bri to cross her arms over her open jacket.

I put an arm around her shoulders and pull her towards my side. She rests her head on my shoulder.

"I should get back," she says standing up from our seat on the slide.

I nod and stand up too, walking beside her to the parked car down the street.

I open her door then get in on the other side. The ride back to Paul's is about forty minutes from where we were.

Bri's Point of View

Harry's car was nice and comforting.

About half way back to the house I fall asleep resting my head on the window.

Harry's Point of View

Once we get back, I notice that she fell asleep. I don't know if I should wake her or carry her.

I decide on carrying her. I take her in my arms and walk up the drive to the front door.

She puts a hand on my shoulder and moves her head so it's over my heart.

Paul answers the door, still in his clothes, and tells me to carry her up to her bedroom.

I lay her down on her bed and pull her shoes off. I take her phone out of her pocket and place it on the nightstand.

I put a blanket over her and kiss her forehead.

"Goodnight beautiful," I whisper before I close the door to her room.
