Chapter Fifty Eight

"I'm out!" Louis yells running out. "Let's go to the pet store!" Liam yells taking my hand. "don't touch me!" "fine let's just go." we go next door to the pet store. He takes a puppy and holds it up to me. "look how cute it is!" "get the filthy creature away from me!" "Annie you love puppies." I do but it looks so much like Grady. "get it away from me!" "Annie cut it out." "I just want to go home!" "fine we'll go home." he puts the dog back and walks out with me behind him. "Why are you being so mean today?" "I don't know. Just stressed I guess." "about what?" "I have finals on Monday and Tuesday next week and I'm auditioning for the movie Prodigy with Tyler Posey in a few days." "You'll be fine." he says putting his arm around me. "Everyone was mean today." "what do you mean?" "well the guy at the tattoo place kept touching me, Zayn was yelling at me because I didn't know where the tattoo place and then people with cameras were in my face." "paparazzi." "yeah whatever. And then the puppy." "what did the puppy do to you?" "Nothing really. It just reminded me of Grady. I really miss him." "it's okay." he wraps both arms around me as we walk. We walk back to the hotel and when we get into the room I run into Niall's arms and let the tears I've been keeping in all day fall onto his shirt. I bury my head in the crook of his neck and wrap my arms around his waist. "what's wrong love?" "I had a bad day." "Aww it's okay. Do you want to watch a movie?" "Can we watch Nanny McPhee!" "whatever you want." "yay!" I jump onto the couch next to Niall. I lay my head on his lap and press play on the remote. Niall plays with my hair and focuses on the movie. "I love this movie." "why?" "I uses to watch it with my mom when I was little." "oh. I like it too." We watch the end of the movie and put on the second one. I sit up and pat my lap so Niall can lay down. "You sure." "positive." he lays down and I run my fingers through his soft hair. I decide to braid parts of his hair. At the end of the movie Niall sits up. "The old lady I'd baby Agatha!" he yells. "yeah I know. I figured that out when I was eight." "oh." "it's okay." "now what movie?" "21 Jump Street?" "yes." he puts it in then lays back down. I continue braiding and inbraiding his hair. Niall falls asleep towards the end of the movie and I lay down against him and fall asleep. There's a bright flash and laughs then silence. I realize I'm resting my head on Niall's bum. Oh well it's comfortable. I think? Strong arms wrap around my waist. "Annie wake up." Niall says shaking me a little. "no I like your bum." he chuckles, "We need to go." "we?" "yes, we." "but." "my bum will be here later." "okay." I sit up and look at Niall face down. "sleep well?" "yes I did." "so my bum is comfortable ay?" "yes it is. But where do I have to go?" "photo shoot." "why do I have to go?" "they want you in the photos." "why?" "because you're beautiful." I roll my eyes, "shut up." I say playfully hitting his arm. "ow!" "oh please that didn't hurt." "how do you know?" "because I'm a girl, an your-" "I'm a what?" "a tough man." "that's what I thought you were going to say." "let's just change." "okay." I go to my room and put on short jean shorts and a light blue tank top. I put on my varsity jacket and my baby blue vans. I crimp my hair. "ready?" Niall yells from my door. "yup." I grab my phone and follow him and the boys out. I sit by Niall in the car and lay my head against the window and watch the rain drops fall down. I race them and see which one wins. "I win!" I yell and put my hands up in the air. "what?" Louis asks looking at the window. I point to the rain drops. "they were racing and mine won." "oh." "you're so cute when you act childish." Niall says kissing my cheek. "what's today?" "Tuesday." "I'm missing school!" "well you can fly back Thursday with Niall. You have your audition tomorrow." Liam explains. "okay." "were here." We get out of the car and I hold Niall's hand as we go inside the building. We walk in and I'm instantly cold. "It's freezing in here." I say rubbing my arms. Niall pulls off his sweatshirt and puts it on my head. "thanks." "no problem love." I put my arms in then take his hand again. "Hi!" a young, perky women says clapping her hands together greets us. "I'm Ellie! You must be One Direction and Annie!" "Hello." Zayn says shaking her hand. "well come this way, and we'll get started." She shows us a room that is set up with cameras and a wall full of different clothes. "put on whatever you want and then we can start." The boys run to the clothes and Niall pulls me along. "wear this!" Niall says throwing a purple dress at me. "pweese." he begs. "fine." I go to my room and change and Ellie comes in. "Perfect for you! I'll have someone come in and do hair and make up." "thanks." I sit in the chair in front of the mirror and text Niall while the person does my hair and makeup for the shoot.
