Chapter Nineteen

Two cold hands cover my eyes and pick me up. They blindfold me with a sock and put me somewhere. I think a car? I can hear talking, British, so it can be anywhere. We stop and the door opens. They pull me out and in a room. They pull the blindfold off and standing in front of me is five boys dressed in all black with black beanies on. It's the boys. They throw a pile of clothes at me. "Change." I look around for somewhere to change, nowhere. "turn." I say moving my finger in a circle. They turn an I quickly change into black jeans, black shirt, black high tops, and a black beanie. "okay." they turn back around and hand me a gun, a paintball gun. I finally realize where we are. A paintball arena! "teams. Annie Zayn and Niall against us." says Harry. "okay. But one question." "what?" "did you have to kidnap me?" "yes. Okay you get three minutes to hide your flag. Go!" me Zayn and Niall turn and sprint to the end of the arena. "okay Niall and Annie you go out and look for the flag, I'll stay here and guard." "okay." me and Niall take off running to find a spot to hide. "Go!" yells Harry from the other side. Me and Niall are on opposite sides and we run. I jump behind a bunker to avoid Liam. I shoot at his abdomen and run forward. He turns and shoots my back when I run past him. I roll behind another wall And shoot at Niall's arm which I can see from across the field. "Hey!" he shoots back at me and soon we are having our own fight. I run up and I can see their flag. Louis is right in front of it and I don't know where Harry is. I motion Niall to come to me. He does and I think of a plan. "okay you go and distract Harry, where ever he is, and I'll distract Louis and grab the flag." "okay." he kisses my cheek and runs off. He runs weird. I wait until I hear a few screams then run towards Louis. I shoot him in the groin and he falls to the floor. I run and grab the flag. He tries to trip me with his Hun but I jump over it at the last second. "Winner!" I yell holding the flag in the air. Louis shoots my stomach. "ow!" "mine hurt more!" "sorry." I reach my hand out to help him up but he just pulls me down. He takes a paintball from the gun and breaks it. He runs the pink paint on my cheeks and nose. I do the same and our faces are a colorful mess. Niall, Zayn, Harry, and Liam come up to us covered in paint. "You're good at this Annie." Zayn says helping me off the ground. "me and Tylor used to go every weekend." "Well let's get home and cleaned up then we can go to lunch." "okay." I pull up Louis and we walk out to the car. "That was fun." I say breaking the silence. They all no in agreement. Louis gets in the drivers side and Harry in the passenger. We dance in the back to the songs that come on the radio. Live While We're Young comes on. "Shhhhhhhh!" I yell quieting everyone. "why?" "I have to hear this." "okay." they turn the radio up and I listen. The boys lip sync their parts. "Tonight lets get some, and live while we're young!" The song ends. "okay you can talk now." "that's all?" "yeah why?" "Was it good?" "it was amazing!" Call me Maybe comes on and we all sing. Even me. "Hey, I just met you. And this is crazy. But here's my number, so call me maybe!" we all yell in unison. When we get home we all go to change into clean clothes. I put on my bathing suit under a striped tank and my shorts. I pull on some sandals and go downstairs. "Are you ready?" asks Liam heading out the door. "yeah." I grab my phone and follow him out. We drive to this place called Nandos which is Niall's favorite place. We sit at a table and wait for our food that we just ordered. I sit in between Niall and Zayn at a booth. "So Annie my parents want to meet you." Niall says turning his face toward me. "okay." "They live in Ireland so tomorrow night we'll leave." "okay sounds good." I try to contain my excitement. I have been wanting to go to Ireland since third grade. When our food comes Niall eats his and starts eating mine. I only ate half so I give it to him. "you're the best." he says taking the plate from me. "I know." I kiss his cheek and watch the boys finish their meals. When we're done we go and get ice cream. We walk down the street while eating it for a long time. I stop walking. "Niall my feet hurt." I complain. "We're almost there." "How much longer?" "like a mile or so." "but thats sooo far!" "oh my gosh just come here." he walks over to me and bends down. He gives me. Piggy back ride the rest of the way. "Where are we going?" "Somewhere." "okay." they tell me to close my eyes for the last few yards. The air smells fresh and clean. I can feel grass hitting the bottom of my feet as Niall walks unevenly to our destination. "Are we almost there?" "You ask a lot of questions." "so are we almost there?" "Yes!" "okay." I rest my cheek on the top of his head and rest a little. "okay we're here." I open my eyes and can't believe where we are.
