The Boy Who

As a child the boy had friends, a lot of friends.
Friends he had known since pre school. Then high school graduation came. The boy left with very few grades and even fewer friends. The boy didn't let it get him down, he just tried harder to make the grades at college and to make new friends. The boy dropped out of college his friends ditched him along with his confidence. The boy that started life a confident child, left college a shy recluse. The boy who found making friends as easy as 123 now struggles to even say hello to people. It's strange what life has done to the boy. The boy used to live but the man only exists.
