My beautiful partner has had it difficult all his life. He suffers from a mild case of asperges. He was picked and teased all his life, called names and cast to the side. Yet he is the most amazing person I have ever met. It's unfair. He tries his hardest in every situation he encounters. He takes everything literally and therefore cannot understand sarcasm, keeping conversations going and maintaining relationships definitely isn't his strong points.

People are too quick to label. Too quick to judge. He is the most caring and amazing person. Yet he is judged far too often and people never give him the chance. I can't help but think, if more people were aware of disability and understood it things would improve. Perhaps, children of the future won't have to put up with senseless name calling for not fitting a mould society created. Disibility or not, they are people, beautiful amazing people. I think too many people forget that.
