Midnight Part 4

I turned on the light and slowly turned around. The carefully stepped to reach the door. As I opened the door a millimetre to pear through the crack I saw the figure gliding around the room wailing and howling and hovering and screeching, the list could go on.
I took a deep breath and opened the door wide open and stepped into the room. Silence filled the room and not even a mouse made a sound they just all peeped their noses out of there hiding places in dark corners of the house. No one even dared move a muscle.

Let Them In

Banging on your window Banging on your door The banging just won't stop And you can't take any more It seems to be getting louder Like the pain inside your head Who could be knocking on your door.
