The Pillars

The pillars three
Once stood so tall
But it seems to me
Like they’re now bound to fall.
The center supports the sides
Trying to mend them, but in vain
Breaks hide behind distance and lies
The middle is cracking from the strain.
The sides try to reverse
The damage that they’ve done
But they cannot undo this curse
And the three will soon be none.
Soon there will be nothing but ashes and dust
And three tales of lost love, no hope, and forgotten lust.

Hey, I'm Kelsey :) I love reading, drawing, poetry, photography, playing guitar, and art. I can't live without music. My Chemical Romance saved my life. My favorite color is orange, I think Robert Pattinson made a much better Cedric than Edward, I'm a bit of a nerd, I'm a band geek, and I'm a little shy but very friendly :) Hope you like my poems!
