Kinda Short Long Story Carry On

It had been tough. Sacrifice time effort. Now she had succeed. Let the new life begin...... I had always hoped for the best for her , I always had a spot for this girl , leaving everything behind to go out on a stupid challenge that she had put herself forward for ….. she left her family , friends but she left me and I could do nothing but go find her

this challenge was to see how long each of them could last on no resources apart from the clothes we had on our backs in the woods for many days with the dangers of the woods and also of each other …... it was a test for survival …... and I joined her

best thing was the it was up to you what time in the day you went , the earlier you went the quicker you got to go to the best spot to get everything , and the best thing was me and her got to the same bit and agreed to stay together to watch each others back the joy inside I could not contain I went red in the face and kinda jumped on my toes. At that point I just realised how much of an idiot I looked like and round to see the most beautiful girl with chocolate brown hair that is never out of place and pale blue eyes that hit your heart as soon as you looked at them. We were up the top of the hill side by mid day and wanted to keep that as our camp so we set traps up I was the climber out of us so I climbed up trees and brought down the vines and we tied them up to make a net if someone stood on it that would pull them up and keep them there till we were ready to deal with them. Also Phallon which is the gorgeous girl I am with is the hunter she was amazing with animals she could control them and also hunt them down so whilst I was doing the traps she was away getting the food

about an hour later she returned with a few fish and a dear , I just looked in astonishment but also horror at the dear , I knew she was the stronger out of the both of us she always has been , the fighter of the both us

when we came to eating it I could not bring myself to eat the deer I couldn’t think of it as food after seeing it as that they always seemed fast majestic as if no one could catch them but then again that is phallon also fast and very skilled with an arrow during the meal we spoke quietly to each other for a small time bout nothing special bout why I asked concerned “why would you put yourself in for this, you know what happens why would you do this to yourself when you have a life out side here” her reply brought a tear to my eye
she replied “no one believe I am strong enough to survive , thinks I'm capable to watch over my own shoulder , most of all though am doing it to prove to myself and my father that no one controls me any more and I am my own person …...”
it was silent for a few second then she asked timidly “phoenix what about you why are you here”
I couldn’t answer , I couldn’t tell the girl that I had loved for years how I really felt , that I was prepared to save her from anything or anyone even though I know very well how capable she is of it I just could bear to see her hurt so instead I slouched back onto the log looked into her beautiful confident eyes and told her “i have no reason fancied the adventure”
after a few minutes in doubt she agreed and said she was going to sleep I replied “okay” at that point she asked me in curiosity “phoenix why aren’t you trying to sleep” I rolled over once again to look her straight in the eyes “i thought I would stay awake a while , make sure nothing comes while you rest”
she just stared at me for a while then sat up straight and said “you know something , you are one of the nicest guys I have ever met and I'm glad if I have to share this experience with anyone im so glad its you” after that she rolled over and said night
I was so glad she rolled over cause the smile that grew on my face and the shade of pink my cheeks must have went but all I knew is that had made this day complete that is all I wanted to hear from her and I got it.
