A brash young man drove into town To eat the hottest food around He looked out for a place to dine A sign said "Ed's", that'll do fine He walked right in, sat right down Ed just looked him up and down I guess you came here for my chilli? Now don't be doing anything silly... So young man ordered up a bowl To defeat this dish his only goal Ed placed the chilli at his table Finish this, if you are able...
He took a bite, then two, then three He finished off the bowl with glee And said that chilli sure was class But was it monster hot? My ass Then sure enough, as he drank water He felt a way he shouldn't oughta The diners didn't even glance So used to tragic happenstance When the cloud of smoke had cleared It was just as Ed had feared Standing there upon the floor Young man's jeans, no less, no more Ed took them out into his store Of jeans from others who had tried Ed's chilli before...
