Out in the desert, come what may Three sisters wished their lives away Their dream was that a handsome man Would ride to them and share their plan They'd dance for him, and him alone And then he'd share their sandy home Alas, so far they'd had no suitors Just thieves and conmen, treasure looters But one fine and sunny day Man and horse rode by their way The sisters thought, this can't be true Their luck, it seemed, had turned anew So they offered him to rest awhile For he had ridden many a mile They took him in, the sisters three And while they spoke, they poured him tea They danced for him as they had dreamed Salvation, then, or so it seemed...

Upon the dawn of the next day Man and horse had gone away The sisters melancholy tune Could be heard from every dune They searched and scoured their home in vain The man was never seen again By night the sisters kept their plan And danced for imaginary man And by the day they searched the land With their teacups full of sand...
