All week long the sun's been out
Tricky, with no shade about
And what is this that I can see?
The leafsnail! Back upon the tree
Like a cat, must have nine lives
Seems he's escaped the Frenchmans knives
Last time we spoke he was so rude
I'm afraid I must again intrude
'Ah treesnail, I see you are awake
If you fall your shell will break'
He said, 'Don't you threaten me
Or I'll start calling you TeaTea
I'm trying to sleep. Can't you see?
Now bugger off and let me be'
Well. That wasn't very nice
I only offered sage advice
Last time all your friends were here
Today I see they're nowhere near
Treesnails climb so very high
